Florida’s Nursing Student Loan Forgiveness Program was designed to offset perpetual state nursing shortages in all facilities. However, eligible candidates must in the short term be willing to work in a medically underserved facility in exchange for loan forgiveness. Program welcomes RNs, LPNs, and Registered Nurse Practitioners. Possible $16,000 in loan repayment per program candidate.
Florida Nurses Association maintains an association funded foundation out of which a few dozen small scholarships and grants are meted out to members for education, research, and even emergency financial aid.
